La Mezca is a mezcal bar nestled in Austin's Mueller district, envisioned as a modern-day mezcalería with the spirit and energy of Mexico City nights. Cumbia music, flor de cempasúchil, and an air of mysticism shape the soul of the brand. While the logo had been previously developed, La Mezca needed a cohesive visual world that could carry its narrative: one that lives between tradition and modernity, between the earthy and the electric. Our solution was a visual identity system that paired raw textures and warm, organic tones with vibrant, almost neon colors. Photography, video and brand applications were designed to capture La Mezca's dual identity as both a deeply rooted cultural space and a bold, immersive nightlife experience.
